Discovering and Celebrating God's Love

Tapestry

A Contemporary Christian Band

March 1, 2006 – The five members of the group Tapestry share the same mission, to weave together their individual musical gifts to create something unique and special.  Offering this gift to God in gratitude is a joy and a thrill for these musicians.

“I’ve been singing all my life,” says Carl Lytle, one of the founding members.  “I enjoy bringing another flavor of music to our area.  This is our way of sharing His message through song.”  Lytle, originally from Fairfield, Alabama, has lived in the Helena area for 16 years.  His wife, Gayle, is a teacher at Helena Intermediate School

Drummer Terry Charcandy is from West Virginia, but has been in Helena for 12 years.  Bass guitar player and singer, Chris Covington, is also a transplant, from Georgia.   Deb Scott, who plays keyboard with the group, is from Estherville, Iowa

Roxann Edsall is  also a transplant (but very happy about it).  Born in Flint, Michigan, Roxann has traveled the globe and is proud to have settled in the Helena area.

Tapestry is a group with very diverse backgrounds, but a group that comes together to celebrate God’s love through the gift of music.  For booking information, contact Debra Scott, Helena United Methodist Church, dscott@helenaumc.org OR 663-0111.
