Helena UMC participated in the annual Christmas parade on December 2, 2007, greeting parade watchers along the whole route.  Here are some scenes from the parade.

On December 6, 2009, the kids of Helena United Methodist Church presented their informal Christmas Program.  Here is a tour in pictures.

The great biscuit giveaway as school started brought 300 biscuits to a variety of folks with the first day of school on August 7, 2008.  These are some pictures from the event.

August 9th was the date for the 2008 Helena United Methodist Church Golf Tournament held at Timberline Golf Course.  The weather was perfect and this album is a selection of pictures taken during the event.

Snow fell across a large chunk of Central Alabama on Sunday, March 1, 2009.  Snow events in Central Alabama are relatively rare and rate special attention.  This event got the attention of HUMC youth and our pastor who enjoyed some playing in the snow.

One of the Christmas traditions at Helena United Methodist is the Journey to Bethlehem.  This is a walking tour through scenes depicting the events leading up to the birth of Jesus.  Participants are all members of the church, and the event is usually staged on two consecutive nights, weather permitting, every other year.
